1. Match the metal to what you already wear
If your engagement ring is white gold, a yellow gold eternity band will read as a deliberate mixed-metal stack — which is fine, as long as it is deliberate. Bring the existing ring to the fitting.
2. Get the size right the first time
This is the single most common mistake. A full eternity ring cannot be resized. Dubai heat makes fingers swell, so size in the afternoon rather than first thing in the morning, and never size straight after a flight.
